Got a people problem you’re not quite sure how to handle?

I’m offering a limited number of free, confidential 30-minute Zoom sessions exclusively for clients of ChadStone Accountancy & Tax.

This is a chance to talk through a live people issue with an experienced HR consultant and leave with a clearer idea of what to do next.

No generic advice. No judgement. No need to have everything neatly worked out before you arrive.

Just bring the problem.

What can we talk about?

You might be dealing with:

  • An employee whose performance has slipped

  • Sickness absence that’s becoming difficult to manage

  • Conflict between members of your team

  • A conversation you know you need to have but keep putting off

  • A disciplinary, grievance or probation issue

  • A team member who isn’t working out

  • A manager who needs support with a people problem

  • A situation that feels messy, risky or just bloody awkward

You don’t need to know what kind of HR issue it is. That’s part of what we’ll work out.

What happens during the session?

We’ll spend 30 minutes on Zoom looking at:

  • What’s happening

  • What you’ve already tried

  • What the risks or sticking points might be

  • What a sensible next step could look like

You’ll leave with practical guidance and a clearer plan for what to do next.

Where it’s helpful, I may also point you towards a template, process or bit of guidance you can use after the call.

Who is it for?

These sessions are for business owners, charity leaders and managers who employ people and need help with a specific situation.

They’re especially useful when something doesn’t feel serious enough to instruct a solicitor or hit the big red button, but you also don’t want to guess and get it wrong.

Is it really free?

Yes.

I’ve worked with ChadStone for several years, and they’re arranged these sessions as an extra bit of support for their clients because they’re very nice like that.

There’s no obligation to work with Human Everything afterwards and you won’t be subjected to an awkward sales pitch at the end.

If the issue needs more work than we can cover in 30 minutes, I’ll explain your options clearly and leave the decision with you.

Confidentiality

This is a biggie. I know that the best conversations about people problems come from a place of trust, and you don’t know me. Having said that, I’ve been in this game an awfully long time and I take providing safe spaces for the people I talk to really seriously. It’s kinda my thing.

Please be assured, anything discussed during the session will be treated confidentially.

I won’t share the details of your conversation with ChadStone.

There may be rare situations where I cannot keep information confidential, such as where there is a serious safeguarding concern or a legal duty to disclose something. If that becomes relevant, I’ll explain it clearly but honestly, in all my years I’ve never had to make a disclosure so this is extremely unlikely.

It may help to have any relevant dates, letters, policies or notes nearby, but don’t worry if you haven’t got everything.
